Pinnacle Search and Rescue is a strictly volunteer organization.
We consist of everyday men and women using our boats and assets to serve others. We welcome individuals from all walks of life with all skill sets.
It can take up to 30 days or more to be vetted and approved, so it is best to complete the application process prior to hurricane season.

How it WorksBackground Check
All volunteers must submit to a background check through True Hire for a nominal fee.
You may be disqualified for any offense. However, we are primarily concerned with violent crimes and those that affect the vulnerable, especially children.
Complete Application
Read and complete the application and waiver. Your electronic signature will be collected, and the application sent to us.
Do the Prerequisites
Complete 4 mandatory Incident Command Classes. We know they’re not very exciting, but they’re required for many training opportunities we will offer.
Get Your Uniform
We require all volunteers to wear a uniform for easy identification. We love our volunteers and try to keep your costs as low as possible. We do ask that you pay for your background check and uniform pants.
